Men's Scarf

I made this scarf for my dad. I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick in Pine. I also used a N hook. I chained 19 and did double crochet in BOTH LOOPS. You could make it any width you want though. I went till I got to about 50 inches then I went around the entire scarf in single crochet. I don't know why those holes are at the top but it looks nice and my dad likes it.

Baby Blanket

I made this blanket for my friend who had a baby girl. I got the pattern from Bev's Country Cottage. It is called a 5 day Newborn Lovie blanket although it took me a lot longer than 5 days to complete. Here is a link to the pattern http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/5-daylovie.html
I used Bernat Her Jeans and Pink to make. I did 10 rows in Her Jeans followed by 2 rows of pink. The shell stich is very easy to make. Instead of doing the border in the pattern I decided to go around 4 times with single crochet. I felt a shell border would have been too frilly. Unfortunately all I have is my son to model the blanket.

Baby Mary Janes

I found this pattern for baby Mary Janes. They are very quick, it took me about 20 mintues for each one. The pattern calls for an I needle but I used a J so they would be bigger. In the pictures I used the lion brand Microspun but I think it might come out better with a heavier yarn like the Caron. I want to make them bigger but I am not sure how to adjust the pattern.
