Ruffle for a shirt

My mom wanted me to make a crocheted ruffle for a tank top she bought. I used a pattern out of this book The New Crochet. You basically chain enough to go around the edge of the shirt. You could do any combo from there that you want. I used bernat cotton tots for the top part (white) and Sugar and cream for the bottom. Mine came out a little bigger than the shirt so I had the seamstress (I can't sew at all) sew in a few pleats.
My mom is modeling the top.
